What’s Inside the Box?

Set to launch on August 1, 2026, each box will retail for $4.99. Unlike the standard minifigures we usually see, these boxes contain:

• 44-piece mini vehicles: Eight different construction machines to collect.

• Functional Engineering: Despite their size, each vehicle features a signature Technic moving part.

• Collectible Playing Cards: Each box includes a stat card that doubles as a road graphic for display.

The Tech Factor: Scannable Codes?

For collectors who hate the “Doom” of pulling a double, the big question is whether these boxes will feature scannable QR codes. While not yet confirmed, industry experts expect LEGO to follow the lead of their recent Minifigure series, which allowed fans to use apps to identify the contents before buying.

A New Era for LEGO Collectors

By bringing the blind box format to Technic, LEGO is clearly trying to bridge the gap between younger “pocket money” collectors and adult enthusiasts. If this series is a hit, we could see mystery boxes expanding into other popular themes like LEGO City, Speed Champions, or even Star Wars.
